EARTH into METAL

Working with Earth energy connecting with our digestive system. Here, the word ‘digestive’ means a deep integration of our being.

The Trigram Earth in the Yi Ching is three broken lines, the space in between the broken lines is the emptiness to receive a seed, this is the Power of Intention YI 意.

In Buddhism the Earth element is empboded by the Ratna or Jewel Budha family, its essence being the Wisdom of Sameness or having the expererience that all that is compounded with element dissolves back to Earth and finally is space equaly as its intrinsic nature. This profound understanding cuts through the root of the creation of systems of values.

The Earth element, which encompasses all five elements in Chinese energetics, also marks the transitional period between seasons. A moment in the unknow to reset our organism in the present moment, as change remains a constant within the unchanging intrinsic nature of all existence, as empty,

Through the integration of the Earth Dynamic Agent and the Generative Cycle of the 5 phases, we will focus on the transition into the Metal Dynamic Agent to experience the concentrating and expending energy of the Metal Element.

We will:

• Use breath with postures and movement to activate the Spleen/Stomach (Earth), Lung/large intestine (metal) meridians as the power of transformation

• Travel in the intuitive mind of bodymind emotions

• Contemplate harvesting the fruit of life
