This book is a translation and interpretation by Laude Larre and Elisabeth Rochat de la Vallée of Chapter 8 of the Huangdi Neijing Ling Shu, which describes the ancient Chinese view of how emotions influence physical health. The heart is the center of a living being and the home of Spirit, and human emotions can compromise the peace and health of the heart. It is in the form of poetry.

With this series of classes, Dena offers her insight through her knowledge of the ancient Chinese language, her practice as an Asian physician practice, and internal martial arts. Daria contextualizes this work through her qigong and Chinese energetics practice and her bodymind experiential perspective.
